Every client with a positive pregnancy test is offered the opportunity to join our Earn While You Learn program to gain integral pregnancy and parenting education in addition to material assistance. Clients earn “Baby Bucks” by completing homework assignments, watching videos, reading books, and participating in group classes. The Baby Bucks can then be used in our Hope Chest, a room filled with maternity and baby items. In addition to meeting necessary needs, the Hope Chest gives clients the opportunity to budget, dream, and provide for their children.
The Hope Chest is outfitted primarily through gently used and new donations from community members. You are welcome to drop off items during our normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you call ahead (423.479.5825), we’ll meet you at the unloading area!
