“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”
– Christopher Reeve
As children we dreamed of being the caped crusaders and high-flying deliverers of justice; as adults we understand the necessity of prayer, perseverance, and partners to accomplish a goal. New Hope Pregnancy Care Center is challenging the community to step up as Everyday Heroes throughout 2016. With our medical conversion mere months away and the topic of abortion being discussed nationwide, we feel the time is ripe for action.
This year’s banquet will take place on Monday, April 18, at First Baptist Church. Abortion survivor Melissa Ohden will share her story and New Hope CEO Tracie Shellhouse will present the center’s latest updates. This annual event is an opportunity to celebrate life together as we remember last year’s triumphs and look to this year’s goals.
New Hope has been a member of this community for 30 years. We have made it this far by God’s grace and the community’s willingness to come alongside us as we face overwhelming obstacles. We hope you join the ranks of individuals rising to the challenge beside us as we work to ensure life for the unborn.
